GRAND THEFT AUTO V ONLINE HEISTS
The ever-expanding Grand Theft Auto V universe has finally activated its eagerly anticipated online heists mode. Available for up to four players on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Playstation 4, the update will also be tacked onto the title's PC edition on April 14. According to Gamespot, "Each four-man group that attempts a heist will need to designate one player as a leader. This player will need to be at least rank 12, own a high-end apartment (one that's equipped with the all-important planning board), and have the necessary cash to pay the upfront setup costs. The leader will have the power to designate roles for all four players at different points. These might include serving as lookouts or bodyguards for someone buying information, or it could involve piloting a helicopter versus infiltrating some kind of building.
The site continues, "One important aspect of choosing a leader is that heist progress is only saved with that person. In other words, you'll want someone reliable in that role."
Adding to the allure of said leadership role are such special incentives as a $10,000,000 bonus for completing all five heists in order (without losing any lives, of course), and a $1,000,000 bonus for completing the heists in order while suffering some casualties. Elite Challenges also promise to "yield a substantial cash bonus." Watch a trailer for GTA V's latest update here, and look out for it online starting today.
