The Decemberists Debut New Music On Tour

The Decemberists began its tour a few days ago and have followed through on the promise of road-testing new music. Over the weekend in Pittsburgh, the band premiered a new track titled "Traveling On." The song, sonically aligned to what's always been expected of the band, drew a roaring applause from the crowd.

Along with "Traveling On," The Decemberists also debuted "We All Die Young." Footage of the performance has yet to surface online. Regardless, this new music could easily find its way on the follow up to 2015's What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World.

The band will continue touring North America until the middle of August. Stops include a self-curated Travelers' Rest Music Festival in frontman Colin Meloy's hometown of Missoula, Montana August 12-13.
