Nine Inch Nails, Jawbreaker and Paramore Lead 2017 RiotFest Lineup

Riot Fest trolled fans with a fake lineup announcement April 1 featuring fake band names similar to Jimmy Kimmel's Lie Witness News, but that's not entirely surprising: The festival's social media looks like the outcome of The Onion hosting a metal festival.

But now, the curators have granted solace to the attendees of the Chicago festival. The first wave of performers has been announced for the event that takes place September 15-17.

Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Jawbreaker will be headlining on the three different days, with New Order, Paramore, M.I.A., Taking Back Sunday and Peaches also making appearances.

Action Bronson, TV On The Radio, A Day To Remember, Prophets of Rage and Wu-Tang Clan are also amongst the supporting lineup.

While there are at least 25 more performers yet to be announced, tickets are on sale for the festival now. Check out our preview playlist below.
