2018 CMT Music Awards: Blake Shelton Wins Big

The 2018 CMT Music Awards were broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday night, brining together country music's best and brightest. Although Blake Shelton walked away with the biggest award of the night—"Video of the Year"—Carrie Underwood still made history.

Underwood collected "Female Video of the Year" for "Champion." The award served as her 18th, which extended her run as the most decorated artist in the history of the award show.

Shelton's "Video of the Year" victory with "I'll Name The Dogs" also saw a win in the "Male Video of the Year" category. Aside from his success as well as Underwood's, collaborations dominated the night.

Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina's "What Ifs" visual picked up "Collaborative Video of the Year" while Florida Georgia Line's CMT Crossroads performance with the Backstreet Boys collected "CMT Performance of the Year."
